Welcome to my food blog! Here are three simple tips for Stress-Free Cooking.

1. Plan ahead - Planning ahead ensures that you have all the ingredients needed before you start cooking.
2. Prep ahead -  Begin to dice or cut your fruits and vegetables in advance. Prior prepping makes for a stress-free cooking day.
3.  Music- Listening to your favorite music while cooking, and cleaning is a great way to elevate stress. Keeping your kitchen clean and tidy can help reduce stress.

  2. I appreciate your tips. They seem very do-able. I have to admit that I hate cooking. I cooked for a family of six and I am tired...but I still enjoy cooking holiday and birthday dinners.

  3. I agree completely! I am a planner by nature in everything that I do, otherwise I am stressed out. I always plan and prep ahead when I am having family events at my home. I listen to music, but what else works well for me is drinking a glass of wine while I'm in the kitchen. I'd love some great recipes if you have some.

  4. The music helps make the time go by faster also. I always like having the IPOD on while I am doing either.

  5. Great tips, I especially like tip #3 listening to music while cooking makes it more enjoyable. I try to listen to my favorite songs when I am preparing a meal.

  8. This is a good one but I watch television when I cook. I have too, isn't that crazy? Very colorful and pretty background.
