Welcome to my food blog! Here are three simple tips for Stress-Free Cooking.
1. Plan ahead - Planning ahead ensures that you have all the ingredients needed before you start cooking.
2. Prep ahead - Begin to dice or cut your fruits and vegetables in advance. Prior prepping makes for a stress-free cooking day.
3. Music- Listening to your favorite music while cooking, and cleaning is a great way to elevate stress. Keeping your kitchen clean and tidy can help reduce stress.
I love cooking when I all by myself. Very stress-free.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your tips. They seem very do-able. I have to admit that I hate cooking. I cooked for a family of six and I am tired...but I still enjoy cooking holiday and birthday dinners.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely! I am a planner by nature in everything that I do, otherwise I am stressed out. I always plan and prep ahead when I am having family events at my home. I listen to music, but what else works well for me is drinking a glass of wine while I'm in the kitchen. I'd love some great recipes if you have some.
ReplyDeleteThe music helps make the time go by faster also. I always like having the IPOD on while I am doing either.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips, I especially like tip #3 listening to music while cooking makes it more enjoyable. I try to listen to my favorite songs when I am preparing a meal.
ReplyDeleteDoes microwaving count as "cooking"? Because I am a pro at that. Great tips!
ReplyDeleteYou should post this on Bakespace. This is good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good one but I watch television when I cook. I have too, isn't that crazy? Very colorful and pretty background.
ReplyDeletevery good tips thank you!!
ReplyDeleteOver the last several years I've taken an interest in cooking. Looking forward to learning from you.
